Runners raise over £5,000 at the British 10K
Runners at the British 10K

Our runners have fundraised over £5,000 at the recently concluded British 10K.

We asked them about their experience and what inspired them to run for Pratham
“I was inspired to run for Pratham as Drink me Chai’s chosen charity and we wanted to affiliate ourselves with a charity in India, the heart of where Chai originates from. The work that Pratham does is so inspiring and I was keen to push myself personally as I had never run any distance before.Although it was a very hot day, I really enjoyed running through London and the cheers certainly kept me going and to run for such a great cause was so worthwhile. “
– Amanda Hamilton, Drink me Chai

“My motivation to raise money and run for Pratham is to support education around the world. In my opinion, education is the most important step to develop yourself and your country. I have been fortunate to receive excellent education which has opened endless opportunities.I thought it was time to give something back to society. Since it costs Pratham only £10 to improve learning levels for a child in India, it is heartening to note that my contribution of over £1100 will help over 110 children.”
