Anandita Khanna
Anandita, is a Vice President at HSBC. Anandita has been involved in education linked charities and enterprises for the last 15 years, most recently acting as a Mentor at the London Academy of Excellence. While identifying as an international student herself, literacy & educational development in India has remained close to Anandita’s heart, recognising it as the critical first step to cement a country’s progress. Anandita has completed her Masters in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Anandita has been a member of Pratham’s Vision India since its inception, and has also volunteered at Pratham UK.

Anupama Rai
Anupama is a management consultant with extensive industry and top-tier management consulting experience gained in the US and UK. She has advised a diverse range of private and public sector clients (incl. NGOs) on their business transformation initiatives to meet strategic and financial goals. Anupama has been supporting Pratham UK since 2014. She has helped identify potential fund raising and corporate sponsorship channels as well as raise funds through participation at events.

Rati Mudgal
Rati has got over fifteen years of experience in corporate finance and strategy having worked in Barclays, Citi and McKinsey. Her transaction experience encompasses Europe, Middle East, Asia and South Africa with specific focus in the healthcare sector. She is a CFA charter holder with an MBA in Finance and B.Com (hons). Rati has been associated with Pratham since 2013 and has volunteered in her spare time to enhance the fundraising activities including the Gala and Vision India series.

Ashish Saxena
Ashish is currently the global head of marketing and sales for the LiquiForm Group. He is seasoned sales and strategy professional who has worked for several world class companies like McKinsey & Company, Amcor Ltd, Bridgestone Tires and Indian Oil Corporation in London, Zurich, Michigan (US) and Mumbai. Ashish holds an undergraduate degree (B.A. in Economics and Maths) from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and a post graduate degree in Business (M.B.A. in Strategy and Finance) from London Business School. Ashish is very interested in exploring ideas to improve the quality and quantity of education in India and is a big fan of Pratham’s low cost delivery model.

Avishek Roy
Avishek manages UHNW family offices across Europe and Middle East, since 2008. Previously he transacted several private equity investments across various sectors in Europe and USA. He is qualified as an electrical engineer and a MBA. Avishek makes all things digital going at Pratham including our website and social media, designs promotional media for events and helps with general office tasks.

Ryan D’Souza
Ryan has practised as a Barrister and Solicitor-Advocate for the past 10 years, in addition to having served as a publicly elected local politician. He is currently studying for an MBA. Away from his professional career, Ryan has played at and now coaches hockey at a national level. After having joined Pratham’s Vision India Club in 2014, Ryan has been a consistent supporter at Pratham events. In December 2015, Ryan organised a Christmas event alongside Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Cass Business School, raising over £4,500.

Rekha Amin
Rekha Amin works as an IT Systems Engineer for a large telco, undertaking computer systems development activities on a range of agreed projects so that these are delivered on time, in budget and have a zero failure rate as they move from development onto production phase. Prior to this, she worked for Logica in their Financial systems arena where she was in a team responsible for the Big Bang stock market changes. This was her first job after graduating from City University where she achieved a BSc in Computing and Systems Analysis. Her interests include travelling, walking, visiting museums and galleries, food and wine tasting, yoga and spending time with family and friends. Rekha’s involvement with Pratham has been of a guest to some of the events. She now feels it is time to give support to such a great cause. She hasn’t got any preferences but is happy to help out where there is a need.

Girish Kapoor
Girish has worked within investment banking in India and London, building and liquidating loan asset books for banks. Girish runs an asset-lite serviced apartment business in Central London. He still retains his passion for animated movies and funny t-shirt messages. Girish is an engineer from Mumbai University and MBA from IIM Lucknow.
Girish got involved with Pratham in 2009 during his 4 month stint as a volunteer office member and has supported the charity since then.

Sarah George Kotak
Sarah is a Derivatives and Financial Regulation lawyer working as Assistant General Counsel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, having started her career with Clifford Chance, London in 2007. She graduated from National Law School of India, Bangalore and London School of Economics as a British Chevening Scholar. Sarah joined Pratham in 2012 first as a Gala volunteer and Vision India member, later acting as legal advisor by working with the Board to draft new Memorandum & Articles reflecting Pratham’s new governance structure. In addition she has worked with CEO Roy Martins to organise Pratham events at BAML and raised funds through the British 10k. In India, together with her family, she manages and funds a trust that awards Class X and XII scholarships to underprivileged students at 5 schools in Kerala. In her spare time she loves acting with The London Natak Company and writing fiction, travelogues, poetry for various publications.

Shazia Datoobhoy
Originally from Mumbai, Shazia is a freelance copywriter specialising in online content writing including website, blog content, social media content, and e-marketing content and strategy. She did her undergraduate degree from North Carolina before doing an MBA at the University of Wales, Cardiff. Prior to moving to the UK, Shazia worked with Citigate Dewe Rogerson, an international financial PR company and then did a year of teacher training with the intention of starting a school for underprivileged children. That dream was unfulfilled as she moved to the UK in 2002. Now a mother of two young daughters, the education of the girl child is an area that is particularly close to her heart. Shazia manages Pratham’s social media platforms and is advising us on our website redevelopment.

Sunayna Sethi
Sunayna leads the content production team at IC Publications, which is the publisher of African Business, African Banker and New African magazines. Previously, she worked with the Commonwealth Business Council, focusing on increasing trade and investments for the Commonwealth countries. She holds a Bachelors in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and a Masters in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick. She is avid tennis player having won the Gold Medal at the National Games in India. Sunayna is passionate about child literacy and has taught elementary education to under-privileged children in Mumbai. She is looking forward to working with Pratham.
