Alpona Banerji

Alpona Banerji has 22 years of experience in the area of international finance and risk management working in multilateral organisations such as the World Bank Group in Washington DC, as well as at international financial services firms such as Moody’s Investors Service in New York and London.

In senior-level roles in the UK and US, Alpona has delivered in-depth analysis in developed and emerging markets (in Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia), as well as risk assessment on diverse investment projects. Her analytical work benefits from big-picture insights into economics, finance, markets, industry trends, and political factors.

Alpona is also the chair of Doorstep Homeless Project Limited, a community-based charity in London and was an Associate Governor at Hill School, an all-girls secondary school in Camden, London.

Alpona holds degrees in Economics from India and the USA.
