Manish Gupta

Most recently Manish Gupta was a Partner at EY LLP, one of the “big 4” global professional services firm, with a primary focus on Infrastructure sector. Through his nearly 30 years of professional career (including 13 years as a Partner at EY), Manish has advised both public sector and private sector clients in more than 25 countries globally in delivering infrastructure projects, as well as M&A transactions and capital raising in the sector. Prior to joining EY in 2005, Manish worked with US Infrastructure developer Bechtel Enterprises in London and Mumbai. As an Infrastructure professional, most of the projects that Manish has been involved with have a direct positive impact on living standards of people as well promote long-term economic growth.

Born and brought up in India, Manish studied electrical engineering at the prestigious IIK Kanpur, followed by an MBA from IIM Calcutta. Manish owes his professional success to the training and education he received at these world class educational institutions, which were funded almost entirely by the Indian Government at that stage. He sees his involvement with Pratham as a means to give something back to India, esp with its initiative focussed entirely on children’s education.
