Anna Wemyss

Anna is an experienced fundraising and partnerships professional with more than 17 years in the charity sector, largely in international development. She has worked with leading UK and charities to build meaningful relationships with donors, trusts and partners who share a commitment to lasting social impact.

Before joining Pratham, Anna spent several years living in Australia and working with Oxfam Australia, where she led national fundraising initiatives and later managed events and partnerships generating over £8m annually. Most recently, she served as Acting CEO and Head of Fundraising & Partnerships at Australian Marist Solidarity, securing multi-year support from major donors, foundations and institutional partners to expand education and livelihood programmes across the Asia-Pacific region.

A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Anna has also worked in the international development sector in India and is passionate about the power of education to transform lives. She lives in Hampshire with her young family, where she can often be found running on the South Downs or exploring the outdoors with her children.
