Deepti Tamhane

Deepti originally trained as a Chartered Accountant in India. She has worked with Investment banking for a few years and then moved to Business Development for a few years. Just before her family moved to London she was working with an NGO called GuideStar India. It’s a platform for Indian NGOs to get certified. She has been volunteering in the philanthropy sector for over 20 years in various capacities and with various organisations in India. She is still a part of an NGO called Caring Friends and supports them whenever she visits India and remotely from London. She was also part of a volunteer group of Pratham a few years back and has visited various education initiatives of Pratham. Apart from this she is a fitness enthusiast and loves running, cycling and trekking. She also has two young kids.
