Dr R. Sri Ram

Dr R. Sri Ram is the founder, CEO and Chair of The UK India Creative Circle, a UK Government Dept for business and trade supported body set up to promote trade of the creative industry between UK and India.

Over 30 years ago Sri founded the Supreme Group which is a diversified industrial group manufacturing eco packaging and promotional products in its state of art facility in South India. Supreme Creations is guided by three principles: Professional, Ethical and Green (PEG). Supreme with its retail partners have contributed to the reduction of over 30 billion plastic bags in the UK by introducing reusable bags made from natural and bio degradable materials.

Supreme has a network of sales and marketing offices across Europe and the Middle East.

Sri also founded the Wings of Hope children’s charity over 25 years ago, a UK based charity which has touched the lives of over 40,000 students in the UK and India.

He is also the founder of SurpRice a plant-based leather like material which is the first of its kind in the world awaiting patent approval. This is manufactured in a state of art facility in South India.

Supreme’s award-winning factory in Pondicherry, India supplies major brands including Nike, Christian Dior, British Airways, Tesco and Selfridges, and is a proud ethical supplier to the British Royal Family.

Sri is a visiting lecturer at the London business school, Grossman school of business, University of Vermont, USA, Westminster university, London, The university of Pondicherry, India and Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth.

Sri is a private pilot and an author.
