Young Pratham supporter raises over £4,000 skydiving for children's learning programmes in India

Skydiving is one of the most exhilarating experiences anyone can do. Whether it’s to conquer a fear or just something you’ve always wanted to try, skydiving is an experience you will never forget!

However, these aren’t the reasons why young Pratham supporter, Dylan Jagiwala took on the challenge.

Dylan decided to skydive alongside his parents, uncle and girlfriend to mark his 18th birthday and raise money for Pratham’s learning programmes in India.

Dylan is currently studying for his A-Levels in Leicestershire with plans to continue his education in university and pursue a career in economics, politics or investment banking.

He is a firm believer in the transformative power of education which is why he chose Pratham as his chosen charity for his skydive.

“Through fundraising for Pratham I want to be part of breaking the cycle. I believe education is the key to success and as someone of Indian heritage this is something that is close to my heart. I have seen first-hand the domino effect that learning has on communities. The children we’re helping now will be the teachers, lawyers and doctors of the future thanks to the support they have had from Pratham and their fundraising supporters.”

“The jump was absolutely incredible and being on top of the world, literally, was so surreal! This was the perfect way to celebrate entering the next chapter of my life whilst raising money for such an amazing cause! I really enjoyed fundraising for Pratham and hope to continue my relationship with the charity and help raise more awareness about the learning programmes that are filling the skills gaps for children across India.”

Big thanks go to Dylan and his family for raising a staggering £4132.28 combined for Pratham’s learning programmes in India. If you would like to contribute, please visit Dylan’s JustGiving page to donate – we so appreciate your support!
