London to Brighton - Going the Extra Mile for Learning

Last Sunday, 15 riders from #TeamPratham took on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride, covering 55 miles from the city to the coast.

It wasn’t an easy ride. There was rain, plenty of uphill, and the dreaded Ditchling Beacon towards the end. But our riders kept going, supporting each other along the way and crossing the finish line strong.

Among them was Nick Sankey, Pratham UK’s Executive Director, taking on his second challenge for Pratham this year after completing the Three Peaks Challenge in July.

We were also delighted to have Cairneagle join the ride as a team, alongside a mix of experienced and first-time riders, all raising funds to support learning.

For us, that’s what challenge events are all about. They’re a chance to do something for yourself, whether it’s taking on a new challenge, pushing yourself a little further or doing something with friends and colleagues, while raising funds for a cause you care about.

Every mile and every pound raised by our riders will help Pratham reach more children and young people across India, supporting them to learn, build skills and create opportunities for their futures.

A huge thank you to everyone who rode, donated, cheered our riders on and supported the team. We’re so grateful for all the effort and enthusiasm behind the day.

Thinking about taking on a challenge for Pratham?
